About me
My name is Gurdip Singh Ahluwalia and I also go with the name “ Deep “ among my friends.

I was born in Sant Nagar, Lahore then Undivided India. I am a Retired Engineer ( SDO ) From Punjab State Electricity Board, Punjab, India.
​
The first Stage performance was at the age of 10 Years old while Maharani Mohinder Kaur visited Kapurthala.
​
Another memorable stage performance was in 1962 at the Grand opening of Sainik School Kapurthala by Mr. Krishna Menon ( Defence Minister of India ).
​
My Role models are Shiva Kumar Batalavi Je, Asa Singh Mastana Je, Charan Singh Safri Je, and Surinder Kaur Je.

Community work and involvement: -
I was in a position to recruit more than 100 individuals in govt. job. My wife, Davinder Kaur, and I've been assisting needy families in their son/daughter’s marriage and helping needy students in education.
​
We are successfully running “ Giani Charanjit Singh Memorial Acadamy” for underprivileged students in helping them prepare for Jawahir Navodiya Vidalya Simiti competitive examination.
